Message condition could be lazy O2's? Check the O2's first for at least 5 blinks of the CEL in 10 sec at 2000 rpm when warmed up. As a final check of the O2's (only use a Digital Meter) by back probe at the connector and check the volts at 2000 rpm for a close to ideal low of about 0.1v to a high of 0.9v. The closer these volts swings are to 0.45v the worse off the O2. Then check Ohms of the heater circuit of the O2 with disconnected connector. See manual for ohms spec I don't recall it.

After that check the coolant thermostat. If the thermo is causing the engine coolant to run below about 180F (at about 75 F ambient) when warmed up it will cause a rich condition. Also the thermo could have faulty modulation of the valve. An easy way to check on the car is with an infra red temp gun pointed at the thermo area.

Nissan dealers will just waste your $$$$$$$ don't use them.
